Compilation of Concept Art that I've done for the purpose of integration into games, or animation.
They cover character designs, prop designs, and environment designs. I always do an initial research of some kind of relevancy to real life societal, cultural, and historical research to bring a touch of relatability - even if the setting is fantastical.
Alice in Wonderland
A darker, reimagined version of Alice in Wonderland. Wonderland is supposed to be set in Alice's imagination and reflects the unstability of her mind.
My goal was to paint an exhausted adult, who still has not grown up. She also has this bit of instability within her.The Mad Hatter is supposed to be a doctor of some sorts with also an unstable mind. He performs experiments on anything he comes across - including himself
Food Truck Story (Ongoing)
Currently I am working on a game called Food Truck Story that will be using VR gamplay.
The goal is to create a warm, diverse, nostalgic, and feel good game. The colours and character designs are more whimsical and comforting, but meant to have enough character so that each standalone object has a story.
Beats & Bolts
Concept art from the game I made with a team called Beats & Bolts.
Heavily inspired by the Industrial Revolution machinery and sketches, as well as patent sketches for both artistic style and props. I also looked into the clothing of factory workers and the lower class for inspiration - both fashion and colour tones.
Red Delivery Service
Red Delivery Service is a family business run by the Red Family. They're delivery service is a little special; they are in charge of delivering confidential, magical items or letters to magic organizations. Thus, the specialized postal office is necessary. However, that also makes their job 10x harder as they have to maneuver around nosy thieves.
JKL
From a game I worked on called JKL.
We wanted to go for the post apocalyptic mixed with pop grunge genre for both music and visuals. I researched the non-conformative style of clothing on top of trying to make our main character as gender ambiguous as possible.
