Beats & Bolts
Beats & Bolts is a rhythm action game based in the Industrial Revolution. A factory worker finds out that he has been laid off so he sneaks into the factory to figure out what is going on within the factory.
Inspired with industrial Revolution technical sketches as well as mecha inventions, Beats & Bolts is meant to bring those to life in a more fast paced and rhythmic way. It is also a commentary on today's discourse of man vs AI but also in a more lighthearted way.
I was the Art Director and provided concept art for our game. I then moved onto 3D modelling the boss and the playable character with rigs, before animating the player. I also storyboarded, scripted, and animated the cutscenes to provide narrative context outside of the gameplay.
